The restaurant

The restaurant “Il Salotto,” located in the heart of Milan, in the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II (commonly referred to as the city’s drawing room), connecting Piazza del Duomo to Piazza della Scala, is a historic establishment that has been in existence for almost 40 years. It offers the opportunity to have lunch or dinner within a unique historical and artistic setting. Guests can also dine outdoors in the Galleria from March to November and inside a heated outdoor seating area during the remaining winter months.

With a total of approximately 60 seats both indoors and outdoors, the restaurant offers a simple and elegant atmosphere. It operates continuously from 10 in the morning until midnight, or until the end of the evening performances at the nearby Teatro alla Scala, every day of the year.

It is suitable for any type of clientele and operates through its à la carte menu, as well as special formulas that are almost daily varied, and menus tailored for special events or upon request from customers with specific needs. The establishment, equipped with free Wi-Fi service, is suitable for accommodating disabled patrons and readily accepts the presence of pets without any issues.
